The trilogy. The word meaning three aspects or pieces that fit together to form a whole. In the sense of the movies, to find a better understanding. When we finished watching A New Hope we were intrigued at the imagination of George Lucas, and the Star Wars universe. For those first time watchers, some have pondered the connection between Luke Skywalker, Obi-wan Kenobi, and Darth Vader. The connection was later explained as apprentices discover that not only was Vader Obi-wan's dark apprentice, but he also was Luke's father. This is the core connection in the Star Wars universe. This conflict between father and son is the key to the trilogy. Will the conflict be resolved? Who will resolve it? Why is there a conflict? Three questions that may be the hypothesis of this middle section of the Star Wars saga.
Another connection is shown between Luke, Leia and Vader. A teenage crush turns into a sibling type love. Literally, but the hate remains from one. The connections in the Star Wars universe are generally formed in threes, hence another reason for the name "trilogy."
Discover other connections in the Star Wars universe. These "tri-connections" do not always appear in sentient beings, they can be with machines, or droids. For example, the connection between Han Solo, Lando Calrissian. and the Millenium Falcon. Or the connection between C3P0, R2D2, and Wedge Antilles. In this saga, the connections are generally introduced early, and of course very subtlety. You will notice in certain novels, that two characters either have a certain fondness for one another, they remind you of each other, or they become very competitive towards each other. The question that we must ask is why?, or how? Or who is the missing piece? Another example is the connection between Corran Horn and Bror Jace. These two are more similar than we know. There is no coincidence. Think about it. They are also around the same age. Your insight wants to talk to Hal Horn. What about the connection between Lando and Boba Fett. How did he know that Fett was going after Han? Read the Han Solo trilogy. Period. There is a reason behind every action, and every action follows a reason. Discover those reasons, and create your own connections. Patterns play a strong key. When some event happens that is similar to another's past, there is a connection. You must find it. Look for the Force patterns that will point you towards the answers. Read the Han Solo trilogy.
