When the time is right:
When you decide to strike, keep calm and dash in quickly, forestalling your opponent. Or you can advance seemingly strongly but with a reserved spirit, forestalling him with the reserve. This is how a Jedi must act when the time is right.
Alternatively, advance with as strong a spirit as possible, and when you reach your opponent move with your feet a little quicker than normal, unsettling him and overwhelming him sharply. Or, with your spirit calm, strike with a feeling of constantly crushing your opponent, from first to last.
Saber battles are above all not a clashing of light sabers, but of wills. Study your art and let the Force guide your actions, and your will and blade will be indomitable.
