I know this may seem like a pretty self explanatory term. Community meaning a group of people with common interest participating together.
The thing is, due to the massive divide in Jedi Practice’s it can sometimes be confusing. Are you talking all Jedi of all groups and beliefs? Or about one group in particular? The later is what gets most people when you speak in a structured group, they will most commonly automatically assume ‘Community’ means them...and them alone.
So here at Just Jedi we felt it was important to point out that. When ‘The Community’ is mentioned - it is better to assume all jedi and the groups associated with that name and practice is what the term is referring too
“The Community” is a shorthand phrase for the “Jedi Community” often spoken by Jediism/Realist members who attend and participate in more than one Jediism/Realist group. Otherwise, a loyal member to one group will more likely use terms like "Temple" - "Church" or "Institute."
Here at Just Jedi we encourage our members to branch out and adventure to other groups, churches and temples for an all encompassing practice. We do our best to provide the information needed to explore these various outlets and remain informed about there interests.
Our Online Directory & Offline Directory for example is one way for our members to find other Groups.
Journal Entry: How many Jedi groups do you participate in? List them in your Journal and write a brief description about what you like about them and what you dislike about them.
