Force Applications - Meditation

While it is exciting to imagine yourself flinging things across the room or lifting your friend up to the ceiling with only your mind...we here at Just Jedi don’t really consider such things to be any more than fictional. Force lightning, mind reading, persuading ‘weak minded fools’ to do your bidding… all of these things are just fun little gimmicks in the star wars universe.

That being said… While not as extravagant as the Jedi on your TV. Applying the Force into your everyday life is a very real thing. And the foundation of these applications all begin with

“Meditation”

Meditation is known throughout the world: Religions use meditation in the forms of prayers, chanting and reflection towards their doctrines and gods. Philosophy uses it to find deeper meaning in the way of life and of self. Spiritualists take it a step further as they apply it to their spel…

What is the "Dark" & "Light" side of the Force?

The “Lightside” and “Darkside” of the Force is most commonly represented in the Star Wars fiction. Jedi served the lightside of the force which represents peace and justice. The Sith on the other hand serve the Darkside of the force which represents selfish intent and evil actions against others.

However. In real time outside of fiction, the Jedi Community has come to question this line of black and white thinking. Over time, it’s become a highly debated and controversial subject which touches not only on human nature but spiritual implications.

Is there really a light and dark “side” of the force? Or is that just simplistic visualization or the human condition?

Universally, it has been decided that the Force doesn't actually have any sides. After all...energy is energy...it doesn't have a consciousness that can make good or bad decisions to infect it’s spiritual or even scientific makeup.

People. However...People can.…

How does one worship the force?

Just Jedi and other Jedi groups in the community are often welcoming in new guests and members. Some of these guests are students seeking to assemble research papers and others are reporters or directors for documentaries. One of the most common questions asked is: “How does one ‘worship’ the force?”

First we should identify what “Worship” means. At dictionary.com we find the meaning as follows:

  • reverent honor and homage paid to God or a sacred personage, or to any object regarded as sacred.

  • formal or ceremonious rendering of such honor and homage:

While there are some members and groups within the community that defines “The Force '' as a sentient being or type of god (Or even god himself) it's pretty commonly agreed that the Force is instead. Energy. Nothing more than that...Energy that permeates all things.

With the idea of the Force being energy. We can already opt out…

The unexpected Bell & Ross BR-03 Astro

It’s never simpler to distance yourself by worldly affairs; you only require one look at the Astro watch dial. replica watches reviews

With Bell & Ross’ styles heavily inspired by the major aviation, it was only a few time before the brand just as before looked beyond the air to the vastness of living space. The latest addition to the BR -03 family: a watch using an animated dial where paradisiaco bodies mark the driving hours and minutes, even though satellites orbit the center of mother nature every 60 seconds. In short, it is very big news.

The Bell & Ross BR-03 Astro high quality replica watches features the brand’s noticeable square case, a hallmark in the collection - recently revived and improved. It’s 41mm wide and 11. 5mm thick, made from black hard with a micro-blasted finish. Often the screw-down crown is at three as usual, but the sapphire crystal clear is skeletonized inside to fit the dial’s central ingredient - a relief on the Earth. Water resistance is 75 meters, though.

The blue aventurine game on the dial imitates a new dark universe with actors; the Earth is at the center, more close to the observer. The geostationary satellites, made of laser-engraved metal, work as running seconds indicators, whilst the Moon with its laser-engraved craters indicates the minutes along with the red Mars, drawn with a transparent disc, points to typically the hours. The movement with the unconventional hands is pushed by the self-winding BR-CAL. 327 movement (based on the Sellita SW300-1), with 54 a long time of autonomy and a consistency of 28, 800 bph. replica watches for sale

A new black rubber or manufactured fabric strap with a matte black PVD-treated steel gear completes the new Bell & Ross BR-03 Astro. As it is easy to imagine the passion guiding the creation of this Pianeta watch, it seems to have strayed from the roots of the BR-03 collection. Similar models such as Horizon, the Gyrocompass, often the Radiocompass, the Red Palpeur and many more have pushed these kind of boundaries, but always using displays closely related to aerial instruments. The Astro is often a further departure from the basic pilot's watch. So why have B& R do this? The reason being simple. Some will love the item because it’s cool and various, others will have to give it up…

Introducing "The Force"

“The Force” Is a highly theological term. Every Jedi, Group, Temple and Church will have varying methodologies in teaching, defining and explaining what “The Force” actually is. But regardless of the different viewpoints. It is commonly agreed and accepted that the wise old fictional Obi Wan said it best.

“......is an energy field, created by all living things.

It surrounds us, it penetrates us, it binds the galaxy together.”

It is these fictional quotes that inspired people like you and me to pursue the Jedi Lifestyle in real life, and such quotes still move us even today.

But what the fictional movies, books and games don’t tell us - Is that the idea of a personal, living and universal energy is actually a common spiritual practice in many of today’s own old and new age faiths and are what inspired George Lucas when he created Star Wars.

As such, many members…

J.Jedi KS.L18 The Empire Statement

The Keeper of Just Jedi 2019

The Empire Statement

The most recent work of Community Wide Keystones would be known as the Empire Statement. Started and created by community member Alex Bird chapter leader of the facebook group Jedi: Empire State who then opened it up to community scrutiny and adapting as well as use.

To this day it is used by a small handful of the community, but grows by those who took it to heart. Further plans to develop this statement are in progress but for now, it earns a place in our history and lessons.

Journal Entry

Read through the Empire Statement and write your thoughts on how it is appears different from other Key Stones. What would you add or subtract from the statement?

Miles Meanderings

As I have not really met anyone yet to talk about any kind of formal training (or I haven't read the how-to on that yet), I will be starting the solo training to begin and putting my work here.

I look forward to any feedback I might get. I tend to be wordy but I hope that is okay. ;)

Family

My family is reasonably civil. I am married, and though we are friendly enough, it is a marriage of convenience, that is in the middle of healing a breaking of trust. My daughter requested to be adopted by her father when she was 15, and he was a good man. My brother and sister have their own lives. As such, my family is distant but friendly and we get together at holidays and the occasional birthday where the grandparents faun over the grandchildren, and the rest of us drink some wine and talk.

All in all we respect each other. If there was need for help, then we would help out materially. We were each raised to be independent and that has some advantages. As far as challenging, when I was younger, my relationship with my father defined most of the challenge in my family life. Now, that has long since passed and it is just not a thing.

It is actually a bit of a relief that family is not a big deal these days. In some ways I have been a disappointment and I needed to learn how to deal with that. In others I have been a smashing succes, and likewise I needed to figure out how to deal with that. All in all, those lessons have subsided for now, and I suspect things to be slow and easy until the funerals begin.

Red 5 standing by.

Hello all. My name is Miles. My interest in Force Realism began in 2008 when a client hired me to create a pre-launch guild website for SWTOR. My research for good story material brought me into contact with Force Realism and I have been a part of it ever since.

I'm here to meet people, talk about all things Jedi and truly refine my understanding of all things in that realm. I look forward to talking with all of you.
