J.Jedi KS.L18 The Empire Statement

The Keeper of Just Jedi 2019

The Empire Statement

The most recent work of Community Wide Keystones would be known as the Empire Statement. Started and created by community member Alex Bird chapter leader of the facebook group Jedi: Empire State who then opened it up to community scrutiny and adapting as well as use.

To this day it is used by a small handful of the community, but grows by those who took it to heart. Further plans to develop this statement are in progress but for now, it earns a place in our history and lessons.

Journal Entry

Read through the Empire Statement and write your thoughts on how it is appears different from other Key Stones. What would you add or subtract from the statement?

J.Jedi KS.L15 - The Jedi Way

The Keeper 2018 The Jedi Way

Another Extended Document was compiled by Brandel Valico who took the many star wars resources from novels, movies, games and RPG guidebooks as well as bits of wisdom throughout the Jedi Community and placed it all inside "The Jedi Way" a 77 page long document of Jedi Teachings and wisdom.

While it is noted in the documents disclaimer that most if not all the content within are not written by the one who compiled this information, it is not listed which parts belong where as the sources are missing.

I am able to spot some of the sources such as the“ Star Wars RPG Core Rule Book” and “Power of the Jedi Sourcebook”  as well as the traditional "Calming Breath" presented by Kharis Nightflyer of the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4 however...some escape my memory (I will list them as I find them. If you spot a section…

It was the mastermind's and influences that were used in the Star Wars creation that had ultimately captured the Jediism/Realism Community most. Philosophies, Religious practices, historic figures, people and beliefs of this earth all taken, reviewed and brought into a new reality that so many were able to relate to without the ties from which they came from.

One such Mastermind that George Lucas drew from the most was a Philosopher named Joseph Campbell and his book "The Hero With a Thousand Faces" published in 1949 which look's into the archetypal hero and mythologies of our own world history.

Joseph Campbell delved into a theory that the world myth's and stories of hero's all had a similar fundamental structure regardless of time and culture. He called this the Monomyth and it became an…

J.Jedi KS.L5 - Luke Skywalkers Code

The Keeper 2018

The Luke Skywalker Code

Alongside The Jedi Code, there was another...an alternate version. But most know it as the 'Luke Skywalker Code' this is because, during the re-establishing of the Jedi Order he modified it slightly as it is told. But overall...that is all we know when it comes to the fiction beyond a couple references. [Pending possible addition to this section]

Much like the Jedi Behaviors it wasn't very popular either in fiction or in the Jediism/realism community. But it did have its various moments in the spotlight as a handful of community members found a greater alignment with the Luke Skywalker Code over The Jedi Code in general. The Luke Skywalker Code offered less requirement of sacrifice such as "No Emotion" and "No Passion" and instead celebrated the spirit of service to others, protection of those who could not protect themselves and training the self…
