The Keeper 2018
Just Jedi's First Key Stone: The Tree's Trunk
The Trunk of a tree is sturdy, strong, grounded. It stands tall and wide to support the expanse of it's branches and the weight of it's roots. It is at the trunk that life circulates and death begins to decay. It is also what nourishes new life after death. It is also where our Key Stone's begin's and ends.
"Jedi aspire towards Self Mastery so that we may flourish in life. The Force, so that our spirit is strong. The Keystone's of your school, so that we may serve others with discipline and valor."
Self Mastery
In life you will encounter a great many techniques, methods of training and way's of application. It is unrealistic to expect to learn them all much less Master them. Which is why Just Jedi feel's it is more important that a student focus's more on mastering their own self talent.
What are you best at? Where do you excel? What make's you the best part of you? That is what it means to excel towards self mastery and to "Flourish in life." because when you are doing the things you are best at and using them for the things that makes you happy, you are flourishing in life.
The Force
"The Force" Will show up frequently in the Key Stone's and your studies within your Jedi Journey. This is because The Force is prominent to the Jediism/Realism path. Every group, order and individual will have a different view point on what the Force is. But one thing stands the same
The Force is Energy
Here at Just Jedi we view this energy as a combining agent to all life. Between you, me, family, our comrades and all who thrive within it. It is what helps you think and learn, it is what inspires your creativity and drives you towards new possibilities. It helps you to be aware of those around you and how they are feeling and gives you that gut instinct and sense of wonder.
It is all this and more and therefore a necessary part of who we are.
The Keystones
The most important part of this line is "....of your school" Just Jedi recognize all of Jediism/Realism and not just our own. We feel it is contradictory to our first line of "Self Mastery" if we restrain one's potential to just one place of study. Where you call home, where you feel most successful, what best suites you and your goals in life is what we feel you should follow. Be it here at Just Jedi or elsewhere...Whatever your choice, we recognize that it is these founding concepts of Jedi Practices that helps us to serve others and be valorous in all of our action's.
What do you excel at? We are curious! Dig down deep and write about what makes you the most happy and the most successful in life. What are you doing to cultivate that? Taking classes? Going on adventures? Practicing? What makes you, You?
