"Communication" takes a high priority in a Jedi's Journey. While our beginnings start through influence, references and personal research - It is by communicating with other "Jedi" in the many various 'Jedi Groups' that we learn about the path and about ourselves. We communicate through forums and social network pages. We communicate through Chat's and Youtube or Blog Talk shows. And for some who find the means...we communicate by phone...and face to face interaction.
Not only do we communicate with each other. But we are consistently apart of our everyday normal lives. We communicate with our family, neighbors, coworkers and fellow colleagues. We communicate with public officials and bill collectors. Communication is apart of being human in this modern world. Even the most shy, sheltered and introverted individual is faced with times of communication. This deeply ingrained and learned skill is something we learn from the moment we are born.
But it is in how we communicate that really measures our integrity as Jedi. In how we frame words, how we respond to disagreement, how we answer basic questions and treat others.
It is argued among every individual Jedi just how far one's mannerisms is 'Jedi Like' or not and there is no standard in how we should approach this basic yet complex necessity in our lives. At the end of the day it is up to you to decide if you are truly representing the Jedi Way....or lying to yourself.
Here at Just Jedi we do not pretend to have authority in how you communicate with others. But we do hope to provide a measure of awareness and perhaps some helpful guidelines that you can use during your own communications and even add to it as you advance and grow on your journey..Some of it may already be known to you. As will many lessons you may come across here at Just Jedi. We aim to provide assistance and service to those still learning. But even the most learned might be surprised by even the most obvious of lessons.
